How long have you been in business?
I have been a Registered Dietitian for about 45 years and have been in private practice here in Westchester County for about 30 years.
What is your primary product or service?
I provide nutrition counseling for patients with various disease states such as diabetes, weight issues, gastro-intestinal disorders, eating disorders, food allergies and many more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Food was always an interest of mine. I have a B.S. in Food Science and Management and then obtained an M.S. in Nutrition.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My counseling sessions are one-on-one and are for 1 hour each session. At the initial visit I provide my patients with a great deal of written material specific to their issue.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
My primary office is at 42 Stonegate Road in Ossining where I have day, evening and Saturday hours. In addition, I have an office at 1985 Crompond Road in Cortlandt Manor opposite Hudson Valley Hospital.
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept almost all medical insurance plans.
Which areas do you service?
My primary geographical area is Westchester and Putnam Counties.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I own my private practice and run it with my husband handling the administrative functions.
What are your hours of operation?
On Tuesday in Cortlandt Manor I am available from 9 AM-5 PM. My Ossining hours are: Wednesday and Thursday 1 PM - 8 PM; and Friday and Saturday from 9 AM-1 PM.
