Through more than 2200 operating units, the YMCA serves over 16 million men, women and children, making it the largest community service organization in the United States. Worldwide, the YMCA is in more than 130 countries and serves in excess of 30 million people. Our more than 150 years have given rise to services ranging from childcare, fitness and aquatic programs to schools, medical and agricultural support for developing nations. The Family YMCA at Tarrytown is a local charity that receives no funding from the YMCA of the USA. Our annual Strong Kids Campaign and annual fund raisers enable us to raise money to give back to the community through Scholarship and Financial Aid.
